This medium bodied red wine is made from Montepulciano grapes harvested from 40 year old vines trained in Pergola Abruzzese. Grown mostly in central Italy, Montepulciano is appreciated for its soft blackfruit flavours and inky purple colour. Low in acidity with round tannins, it’s the ideal varietal for everyday drinking.   Fruit forward, this wine has juicy notes of blackberry, red plum, sour cherry, and thyme. Perfect with burgers or pasta.
