The grapes come mainly from the village of Vire, north of Mâcon on clay-limestone soil with good exposure. This is a selection of juice when pressing: only free run juice. This wine was fermented in stainless steel horizontal tank then it continued his aging in horizontal stainless steel tanks for 6 months only on fine lees. The slow fermentation allowed a natural stirring of the lees, no stirring was made thereafter. The wine has a very lightly buttered and especially fruity (pineapple ...) nose. The palate is structured with a very precise and mineral development.

Wine AdvocateThe 2013 Chablis Terres de Pierres comes from a parcel behind Clos de Léchet with rich limestone soils, its northerly exposure meaning it is usually picked later than others. It has a crisp, flint and smoke-scented bouquet that is taut and linear and will benefit from 12 months in bottle. The palate is balanced with light stony notes on the entry, but the finish just feels a little dilute compared to others.
