Certified organic since 2006, David Duband is a star on the rise in the Cote de Nuits. Like many of his best contemporaries, David's holdings are split between Domaine vines that he himself owns and vines that he has long term leases on. But unlike many other Domaine/Negociant operations in the region, David does all of the farming himself (a practice employed by such luminaries as Pierre Yves Colin Morey and Dominique Lafon). For those who have followed this Domaine from its inception, there is no question the wines are the best they have ever been.
