Wine AdvocateThe 2012 Potro de Piedra Cabernet Franc / Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful and well-oaked red blend with notes of toasted wood, espresso coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, cloves and dark pepper. The palate is full-bodied with an abundance of grainy tannins and a large effect from the oak in the shape of some bitter and drying tannins toward the finish. Drink now-2015.
