Domaine Roche-Audran Cotes du Rhone 2014

Black dherry colour with ruby tints. A distinctive nose of red fruits (cherry, respberry), and with hints of peony. Full-bodied and supple, flavour of red fruits with soft and smooth tannins. Very good length with lasting freshness and taste of red fruits. A delicious wine ready to drink now and will keep for 2 - 3 years.

Wine AdvocateA step up and much mineral-driven, the 2014 Châteauneuf du Pape Cesar exhibits lots of black and blue fruits, earthy, wet rock-like minerality and ample ground herbs in a medium to full-bodied, structured, yet balanced package. It could be one of the few 2014s that will benefit from short term cellaring.

Wine SpectatorJuicy and brambly in feel, with good energy pushing the cherry paste and plum sauce flavors through the anise- and violet-tinged finish. Drink now. 1,200 cases made.
