Deliciously fruity and deep, the Highland Park 21 is crafted from just 48 casks—25 first-fill, sherry-seasoned American oak quarter casks, 15 refill butts and 8 first-fill, sherry-seasoned European hogsheads—all hand-selected and laid down in 2001 and 2002. By combining three different cask types, our Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion has created a superb single malt Scotch whisky with a natural deep copper colour direct from the cask that’s both satisfyingly rich and intriguingly complex.
