Winemaker's Note:

Known for taking the road less traveled, Michael David Winery has always stood apart from the crowd. Whether it be their outlandish brands and packaging or their quirky personalities, Michael and David are definitely on a stage of their own and this wine showcases just that. The Strongman featured on our Cabernet Sauvignon is the original act in our Freakshow family of wines.

Tasting Notes: Bold enough to make an entrance and smooth enough to stay awhile, this full-bodied Cab doesn't believe in subtle introductions. The show opens with expressive notes of blueberry pie, vanilla and cracked black pepper on the nose, setting the stage for a rich palate layered with blackberry, sweet bread and cocoa nibs. An encore of ripe, dark fruit leads to a delicate oak and cocoa finish.
