Winemaker Notes
Cantine Iorio is located in Torrecuso, at the slopes of Mount Taburno, calcareous massif known as “the Sleeper” because, observing this group of mountains from a certain distance, it looks like a lying down woman who is sleeping. Here long stretches of vineyards create a picturesque natural park that, thanks to its territorial structure and particular weather conditions, allow the production of high quality wines.
Hand-harvested from limestone and clay soils, this Falanghina is aged in stainless steel to ensure fruit purity. It is crisp, dry, and savory, offering bright notes of green apple and citrus with a refreshing mineral finish.
Tasting Notes
Beautiful, light yellow color. Nice nose with lots of flowers and exotic fruit. Full, sunny taste and a wonderfully soft character. The final is colored by a soft spicy touch. Mild acidity and a crisp freshness.
Pair with firm white fish, poultry and other white meats. Mediterranean fish stews.
