Tasting Note
Deep ruby in colour. On the nose, typical wild berry notes of the variety stand out. Hints of tobacco and black pepper provide a backdrop, with well-integrated oak. On the palate it is full-bodied, youthfully vibrant in tannins, then softening over time into exceptional harmony.

The 2022 Aglianico del Vulture Calice is spicy in the glass, with dusty lavender, menthol, cedar shavings and sour cherries. Vibrant acidity elevates soft textures and citrus-laced wild berry fruits. It finishes with excellent length and freshness, framed by a web of fine tannins. Nicely done.
